State Institute for Rehabilitation, Research & Training has been entrusted with the responsibility to provide educational as well as rehabilitation services to children with special needs for mainstreaming in the society and to develop human resource in the field of special education and disability rehabilitation. In order to achieve these objectives, appropriate educational as well as vocational training to children with special needs are provided by using effective teaching strategies to strengthen their deficit skill areas.

Human resource development programme at B.Ed (Special Education –Mental Retardation), Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology operational at institute through conventional mode in disability area in the state of Haryana are considered as on of the best training programme in order to produce qualified rehabilitation professionals so that quality service to children with special needs to be provided as per the vision of the institute.
