From the Desk of Divisional Commissioner Rohtak Division, Rohtak & Chairman, Managing Committee of SIRTAR :

In order to provide quality service to Persons with disabilities especially children & associated disabilities and their mainstreaming in the community, SIRTAR has been established in july 2008 an an autonomous body by the Deptt. Of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt of Haryana within a spam of two years, institute has taken its momentum in the appropriate direction to achieve its objectives. Effective teaching strategies are implemented by qualified rehabilitation personnel for strengthening the various deficit skill areas i.e. Special Education, Pre-vocational Training, self help skills, functional academics etc. Residential facilities for Children with special needs  by the institute are one of  the best in the state of Haryana.

Manpower training programmes in the field of special education and disability rehabilitation at Degree as per as Post Graduate levels through regular mode imparted by this institute ensures excellent grooming of trainees in order to make them proficient personal so that quality services could be provided to  (Person with disibilisation) as it is one of the objectives of institute.
